The Bonsai brand

A bonsai is a big tree kept small enough to live in a pot. Bonsai keeps many large models on one PC and only grows the one you need.

The look is a two-ink risograph print. A blue key plate carries the type and the tree’s structure. A fluorescent pink second plate carries the foliage and sits slightly off register, so the inks overprint into purple where they meet. Everything else is plain paper.

This identity belongs to the Bonsai project. It is not a template and is not offered for reuse.

No print-shop puns in product copy. The print look is visual only.

Motion

The signature move is the pink plate drifting into register once, when the tree first appears. Interface motion answers what someone did: a model loading, a drawer opening, a row arriving. Motion is on by default and the manager has a switch to turn it off.
